Hi there,

Help needed!!

I use black soil (mix with coconut coil) as substrate for my outdoor housing (in the balcony)

I noticed most of the time the humidity is above 80%.

May I know how to reduce the humidity as I read somewhere it is better to keep it between 50 - 70&.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi Guys,

I noticed the right & left cheeks of my 2 star tortoise looks like skin being peeled off from the flesh --> reddish
Is it some kind of disease?

Also the female will make some kind of soft noice & also noise which sounds like blowing out air from the noise. Why is it so?

I am bringing them to see a vet soon just to be safe.

Cheers..

My female star is suffering from splayed legs. Will it affect her in terms of breeding?
Can this problem be rectified?
I heard that I will need to feed her with high calcium diet daily..

Depends on lots of stuff !! If curved bone or " older " specimen involved damage may or most likely permanent !! If permanent , high calcium only stop it from getting worse but can't improve it !!

Cheers
