Just bought a baby RES yesterday evening Is it ok to just have 1 till reaches adult?

I'm very sad Muffin is gone... tot he wasnt eating coz of new environment..

RES, about 50 cents coin size, bought the round plastic tank with palm tree one (which i've googled just now and some called it 'Death Bowl', tried giving green veg from fridge and fish pellet but it didnt even sniff...

feel that i've cost a life for not enuff preparation for a terrapin. but i'm determined to make it up. googling more sites for care sheet and wanna setup a proper bigger glass tank for the next fella with UVB, filtration and basking area...

any other things that sifu here and point me to look out for?

PS: took him out at about 12pm today outside car porch and he was the most active i've seen since bought him, trying to run under the car and shoe rack, then put him back in tank, after 4-5 hours, motionless in his tank...

about 10 mins each in sun and in shade....

i have a question, read up some site's and was mentioned that they dun like to be handled at all, will rajuk and dun eat. true? so how exactly do we socialise with them? without touching?

roger that Mspot, was thinking of going yesterday to get a proper turtle pellet, tot the fish pellet would hold... haiz...
