hello.

what is your staple food for your star tortoise?

the info sheets, say all the non-asian vegetables.. mustard green, collard greens.. my market dont know those names.. ada malay name for those kah?

further reading.. star enjoys a grass staple diet, not those veges found in the store.. is our asian grass suitable??

the common diet i see after reading this TTT forum from V1 to V5. kangkong, kacang panjang & sawi.

correct me, TTT members please..

that is what i taught.. kacang panjang got beans, beans = protein. (been lifting weights so i know the protein, carb, fats ration on foods)

so those are the daily "staple" diet I should give them?? i dont think my "country" have such varieties you guys are having.. grass, hibiscus ok.. the others unsure.gif

But do take note of a few things (I assume you are talking of Indian/SriLankan Star)

- Sulcata is a more aggressive sp take note of the Star if too stress seperate
- Star easier to get RNS

I think with more and more people releasing non-native species into the wild within this few days, maybe only then the authorities would have the balls to make any real decision on whether any license should be granted or not.

I don't have any plans to declare as I have decided to release them. I hate them too much to bow to their tantrums. And freedom matters to me smile.gif.

You guys can go play fetch afterwards aight.

ALL HAIL THE ALMIGHTY PERHILITAN AND INTESA! ..l..

Sorry bro but I decided not to trade them...with anybody. They will be released to the wild. Infact, they are no longer with me now. I just lost a couple of $$$$. But I had experienced worse. So this is just peanuts smile.gif.

Few years down the road, you will see probably some headlines in the local paper "Rare tortoises captured" or "A wealthy businessman wanted to buy these rare tortoises but Perhilitan rejected the offer because something new and rare belongs in a museum". And suddenly a Brazilian saw the news and make another headline on the next day saying "I eat those RARE tortoises at home almost everyday"

I think I will get my money worth ten times more ...LMAO!!!

respect your decision.. blush.gif

Hope so. I am working out on another one in KL soon. This one should be bigger than the one in MVEC. But of course since I like to "surprise attack" (Sun Tze taught me that LOL!), the full details will be revealed one week before the event. And if there is a competitor there, I will "bombard" with heavier artillery. TGS may not be the first (infact if I recalled correctly she was the fourth to rise in 2009) in Malaysia. But I assure you that she will be the one.

You better be there and introduce yourself properly. Or else I will burn down your damn house...bro. LOL!
