Both my leo and star is put outside, with shade and open space and small rocks as the base. My star is around 5-6 inch, while my leo is around 3 inch. I suspect my leo is having RNS, is there any way to improve the husbandry?

As for the heat source, are you suggesting lamp or heating pad? This post has been edited by mic_tcs: Feb 21 2012, 03:06 PM |

Will there be any diff(beside electricity bill) between the energy saving bulb and the traditional bulb? assuming both are the same wattage. As far as I know, the local and imported species mostly, if not all, have been bred locally by Sam.

Depends on whether you are putting your ST indoor or outdoor. Normally indoor tortoise is given Calcium+D3. For outdoor, Calcium only. But if their meal is high in calcium already, then you can skip that.
