Both my leo and star is put outside, with shade and open space and small rocks as the base. My star is around 5-6 inch, while my leo is around 3 inch. I suspect my leo is having RNS, is there any way to improve the husbandry?

Thanks for the information. Need to do some changes now...
As for the heat source, are you suggesting lamp or heating pad?

yaya.. don't think there is jumbo size heat pad on sale.
Will there be any diff(beside electricity bill) between the energy saving bulb and the traditional bulb? assuming both are the same wattage.

QUOTE(SAMPERTH @ Sep 13 2012, 12:34 PM)
Most if not all tortoise prefer fresh green !! Grow them lah - mix fresh ( alfafa and timothy ) with dry hay and gradually dont mix any fresh n feed just dry !!

Cheers

As far as I know, the local and imported species mostly, if not all, have been bred locally by Sam.

Depends on whether you are putting your ST indoor or outdoor. Normally indoor tortoise is given Calcium+D3. For outdoor, Calcium only. But if their meal is high in calcium already, then you can skip that.
