Thanks and with the amount of Sulcata my colony is churning out - I might consider releasing some so as to tip the balance / change the local fauna scene !! LOL

Isnt it what they want all the time !!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
P/S
Before you guys ask can they survive our humid condition ? I would say beter than most Indian Star or even imported Radiated due to them being truly 100% MADE in Malaysia !!
Their parents waddle in the mud like Red-Footed and M.emys or Elongata when it rains !!

nice going sam. now show us those ploughshare babies please smile.gif

i still remember that back in 2008 some @sshole (that made a living by 'tipping off' the wildlife department and caused misery to fellow hobbyists) spread-ed the rumor that leopard and sulcata are going to be listed in CITES 1 lmao.

Lovely "RES" you hatched there Sam LMFAO!!!

Anyway, I need to ask whether my turtles' growth rate is normal or not. I bought them when they were only a few weeks old (around 2 to 3 weeks). They arrived somewhere around end of September or early October last year. And this is their size now. Is this slow, normal or fast? Thanks!
*
Thanks on my " RES" !!

Being awhile since I kept any RES so not much comment - But for a 6-7 mths old they seems a bit big , but some RES do grow faster than others even all else equal !!

Why hasn't anyone mention wattage but instead cheapo here or branded there !! Except for the uv lighting (I choose branded) for my sick n hatchlings the rest I buy the cheapo !!

You can go buy a 25 w Sun Glo n not do the job while a 60w or 100w cheapo can !! Why ha ??

Hi,

Sorry if this Q is repeated,
Jus wonder how to sex a radi ?

Same as most other breed of chelonian - M with longer tailwhile F with shorter tail !! But radi are known to be tricky till big ie 10 or so inch if not larger !!
