He's nuts or something?
I like his honesty rclxms.gif , but that's not gonna do good for the shop he works for, cause words spread around.

I got a Sumsung LA32B530 last week and so far no hardware problems (touch wood) but the only problem i have now is the color are too saturated compared to my 23" FHD monitor, both running on HDMI from my laptop. The color on the Monitor look bright and sharp but when i play the video on the TV all the color mellow down, i even got my contrast set up to 90+ and it still look abit washout.

Is it my panel have problem or are my setting wrong? need some guidance to properly setup my tv. Don't know what to set (too many settings lol plus iam a noobie) notworthy.gif

you will find product failure if in any brand.my take is samsung tv's are just as reliable as other top tier brands.typically korean electronics dont have as much profit margin ergo lower sales commissions so go figure. speaking as an owner of 1 top japanese brand lcd and 1 samsung lcd owner.

however i'm dead set against LG from experiemce with their poor crt.

What means 'not reliable'? Picture/Audio quality becomes poor or what? Specifically, What are the problems that he mention?
It is good that you seek clarification.
I would think most salesman would tends to sell products that gives them the highest margin! whistling.gif

Samsung sells a myraid of other products like household appliances, PC hardware, and many others.
Sony sells many cameras, music players, notebooks, etc.

That graph tells you nothing about the LCD TV scene. Isnt an indication for reliability if you ask me.

My point is, you cant say that Samsung is good just based on that chart. I'd say Sony is better right since its number 3? =.=

So far I ditched Philip CRT and LCD to Samsung 26", 40" & 46" LCD for 1 to 1.5 yrs respectively, so far so good. I can't say it is good. For me good means it can last more than 5 yrs at least and it is way too earlier to tell. My 37" Philip LCD gave up on me with only 38 months with average ~5 hours usage.
