I'm too having problem playing SC2 at medium mode with FPS < 20.

I will try to investigate further. One thing for sure is that I'm have not updated the NVIDIA Graphic card driver to the latest
version. Still on stock version.

Maybe I will upgrade the driver but scare run into problem...

I wonder Shall I or Shall I Not upgrade to new gc driver....hmmm... rclxub.gif

i had a few Q that might sounds funny...
but i really wanted to know..

1. does the small hole that we have on the left top of our asus notebook really help in terms of preventing thief??? if someone want to potong also can rite??? or just patahkan that tiny keylock... hmmmm how far does it work?

2. did u guys aware that if we press the logo ASUS at the middle bottom of our led screen [dont press hard ok] it feels like this laptop so cheap ;P even though it really are.. can press press one loh..haiyaa. so lembik.
*
No1. that small hole for notebook lock does not help. As u said, just patah, then notebook is lost..Better go buy insurance... hehe

No2. - Did not try yet..good that u test it out... smile.gif

is there a workaround for the combo jack?
i want to use a separate set of mic and speakers, have tried the 2female1male cable, cannot....
*
Since A42JV have only 1 jack, I try and tested with few headset (with gold-plated head), audio is not clear and
lotsa of noise on the mic.

So end-up buying a Logitech USB headset (Comfort and Clear USB type) and it works out well.

Furmark is apps to stress the GPU...

Will try this out tonight. I also encounter my machine is slowing down after a while when playing multi-player SC2.

80 degree C still fine. NVidia card can support up to 100+ degree C.

Notebook X-Lite if turn to High mode can spin the fan around 2000 rpm.
Apparently, it should drop the temperature +/- 17 degree C.

Just monitor that.

Maybe I mistaken on this one...lol.
You should get Notepal Infinite (without 4 port USB hub). Around RM85-90.
That actually have 3 fan speed low spins at 1000 rpm, mid at 1500 RPM, High speed spins at 2000 rpm
with lowering temperature up to +/- 17 degree C.

I'm not sure whether air-cond rooms helps in lowering your GPU temperature significantly
as the heat generated usually disperse by the Cooler Master.

Huge cooler is nothing if the fan does not spins fast enough and blow at the critical component CPU, GPU.

Hope this helps!
