QUOTE(pizzaboyj @ May 29 2010, 03:27 PM) afaik. to get mac os x running you would need to have the proper drivers and everything ready. and i dont think you can VM it. always best as a standalone. maybe you can look at the guides and try to get it to dual boot. but iirc you'd need a clean hdd to install it. I just wanna know if an A42JK can have a Mac installed on it. As in, without any conflicts. Cuz I can get a retail one from you-know-where |

QUOTE(faiz2036 @ May 29 2010, 08:34 PM) Mac OSx required intel based system to operate.. i think there is no problem to install Mac os in this notebook.. Probably. I'll try it later >.>Added on May 29, 2010, 8:36 pm Battery Life for this notebook with Power4Gear Hybrid set at Battery saving can last long for 3hours. Wifi on. QUOTE(wanakev2 @ May 29 2010, 11:20 PM) hey guys.. i just bought this model(a42j i3) today..i think the speed is a little bit slow(maybe bcause of the proser/ram..not sure enough wat happen to my laptop..lol)..n also its wifi speed is slower than my brother laptop(dell)..i really dont know wats going on wif my laptop..maybe i need to format and replace it current os (w7 home premium) with 7 ultimate.. You may try adding another 2Gb of RAM to 4Gb and see if there's any changes as this is a 64-bit OS. I'm using 2Gb only and it's running pretty okay and of course, I optimized it. Removed several pre-installed 'games' (i don't know what are they so i just removed) and disabled some things on startup using CCleaner (freeware, go Google it); disabled Windows Defender. Disabled UAC. I think that's all I did.Edit - Been playing MW2 MP pretty much after I bought it yesterday evening - no issues. Smooth after I decreased some settings. Even with maximum settings, it's all good except minimum lags. This post has been edited by phantomkid: May 30 2010, 02:08 PM |
