86C still not really high, I tested it to run around 90-95C, both CPU and GPU, also no shutting down...

slot for expansion like can plug-in external sound card, e-sata, usb 3.0, remote control, mouse etc....

Well, doing other than the ram and hdd, will most likely void the warranty...
I could think of.. 1. change the wireless card to intel 6300 2. add in 3rd antenna 3. change the cpu to i5 540M perhaps, since the i5 450M able to overclocks its FSB to 160MHz and quite stable, changing it i5 540M, *might* be able to get 3.4Ghz in Turbo.. 4. upgrade the hdd to ssd 5. swap the optical drive with hdd caddy and put in hdd 6. drill bigger hole for the cpu ventilation or else, pretty much buy accessories for its, like external sound card, speaker/headphones, mouse, external screen.... @gogo2, tried HWInfo to check the ram? |

Can try run the game in window mode? and put cpu-z(main tab) and gpu-z (sensor tab) and hwmonitor
see whether during the slowdown, does the CPU multiplier goes down or the GPU core clock/memory/ going down suddenly..... |

hmm, don't see the sign of throttling...

Means the GPU is forced to run significantly slower clock/memory to prevent overheating....
Usually triggered when reach certain temperature, but yours is still in normal range... |
