yeah and it seems that only online games having this problems. i'm gonna try Dirt 2 inawhile and will post the SC's together with NFS Shift with v-sync off.

NFS Shift, Warcraft III, L4D2 only so far. installing Dirt 2 now. i got some more. will try and post SC for everyone here. any games suggestions to try? i will download and try it.

what does it do? can't turn it to high. medium is the most.

i used fraps with fps on. but dont know why in the SC its not showing the FPS. only in video recording got. maybe cause im using the old version?

gt 335m supports dx11? i tought 10 only?

i think GTA 4 relies more on cpu than gpu? anyways a42jv has i5 450m and gt 335m which is better than urs. but i'll try it soon as i have it.

yup it runs better on quad core. too bad i5 has only 2 cores.

hmm. how come i run dxdiag it shows dx version 11?

why so many people having problems with nvidia driver and dota and some other games? i haven't face any problems yet. *touchwood*. only the laptop gets pretty hot while gaming. so i do it in a aircond room.

additional game tried DMC4, Splinter Cell Conviction and COD MW2. will upload SC's if needed.

hmm. i used fraps to check while im playing dota just now. fps 30+ only. sometimes it goes 20+ but never lags.

yeah splinter cell got problem i think but i never went that far yet. was just trying. when it was detecting the hardware it said gt335m not supported . and nfs shift got a few fps drops but for like 0.5seconds. uninstalled the game anyways. sucky.

problem with design? but this laptop does have a very weak speaker. doesnt bother me much since im using 2.1 edifier speakers. and yea some ppl having problem with the optimus driver. thank god i havent face it yet(hopefully wont). and this is ur best choice with that budget. trust me u wont regret it.

with this kind of performance, the speaker quality is negligeble. and if u compare between laptops the speaker arent much of a different. i only know toshiba with good speakers.

u didnt negotiate? try negotiate and state that u dont want the free gifts. price would have been much cheaper.

and yeah im pretty scared of the temp when gaming. the laptop gets pretty hot. wonder if its safe in long term usage.

can i still download if i close the top of the laptop? because if i do it goes to hibernate right?
