Congraz, sa10! Good service Asus has... rclxms.gif

Ok, i set C&C4 to low to medium settings and resolution at 1280 x 720, the game was smooth (the game speed became a little too fast somehow) but the FPS was at average 30. Is it normal?

i updated 258.96 since last week... so far okay.

i also dare not OC it. just a noob. will the performance a big jump?

i hav the silicone cover for keyboard (free gift). After used for a few days i decided to remove it as it kept the heat so felt a bit warm on keyboard.

how to change the display devices from intel to nvidia G335 ??
*
i think Intel will always be the primary card, so we cant change that. Only playing games, we can choose to use Nvidia.

Reaching 90+C, though the stock clock also almost reaching that temp, so not much addition, with no cooler, standard room temp....
Palm rest still cool...
Yup...
Don't those kind of headphone using two plug?
I think easiest is use the usb headset..

Compare side by side, the palm rest even cooler than my Acer laugh.gif

You need to install MSI AfterBurner 1.60
then after installed, go to its directory under the program files(x86), open the msiafterburner.cfg if not mistaken, then scroll down, change the enableofficialoverclocking = 0 to 1 then save it....

then open the msi afterburner, from there, you can slide the memory clock and core clock...
core clock gives more performance but more heat...
Try adjust core clock first, try at first 50MHz, then go up slowly by 10MHz or 20MHz, each of it, test it using furmark couple minutes, check whether there's artifact or not, then keep slide the core clock up untill there's artifact or hang, then put back the value slightly lower before it hang, e.g if it hang at 820MHz, put it around 800 or 810MHz... then repeat it with memory clock....
The best I could get is Core Clock 577, Memory Clock 966...
with i5 450M running at 3.0GHz, 3dmark06@1366x768 gain 9088 score from 7200 in stock clocks....
*
Ok.. need to install 3Dmark06 first... biggrin.gif

Smooth? How about the sound, from TV as well?

The sound from A4JV is very very bad.

BTW, abt laptop keyboard protected (i think like silicon type). I heard its not good for your laptop screen.
It can leave a stain on the screen... stain that is tough to remove. Is this fact true?
*
Yes, smooth but it depends on your settings or which game u play. i normally set the highest.

Yes, the TV got sound, just normal but at least it is better than the laptop's speakers.

i dun use the silicone protector anymore as it made my keyboard warmer. Silicone is not ordinary plastic, shouldn't leave any stain.

Hi guyz,

Earlier I transfer a movie from external HDD into the laptop (A42JV).

The transfer rate is arguably slow about 15MB/sec (via USB).
USB average transfer should be within 25-30MB/sec.
Also tested transfer via Gigabit Network also around 15MB/sec.... slowww!

Any the same owner here experience the same thing? Need your guyz feedback on this.
@ROM_star: Ehe, what game u play first of all? Red Alert 1? Dota ?
*
Red Alert 1??? i dun know i can find this game anymore tongue.gif
i play C&C4, RE5, ME2 & DS, not Dota.
