Hallo friends.. I'm newbie here in LYN.. How i found this thread..??
I was looking a tips and tricks for bowling, then i found this lovely thread.. i'm a beginner bowler, just started as a serious gameplay 4 months ago around in April 2010.. Already got Total Chaos 15lbs (my Dad's ball) and just bought a new ball, Ebonite Magic Touch 15lbs, 2 weeks ago in Summit from Jerry/Sham..

Join here, to make a friend and get some tips from all of here since i'm consider my self as a beginner bowler.. I found here, full of infos about bowling, GREAT.. I'm a student, live in Shah Alam.. always play bowling in Alam Sentral, Ole Ole and Sunway...

I want to ask something, hope u guys can help me.. Yesterday i played at Cosmis Ball, Mid Valley.. i can't control my ball coz its hook like crazy.. eve though my sister use a house ball also can hook like hell.. and that was the first time i bowl over there..

i'll try my best to answer it...
actually depends on you.. beginner, intermediate or advance..
if regular bowler macam selalu play for competition should be 3/4 times a week..
kalau bowl for fun, twice a week rasanya cukup


Like me, just started to play seriously..
atlest 3x a week.. dan saya bermain sekurang-kurangnya 5 game setiap kali main..

Guys... i always go for bowl in MegaLanes Sunway Pyramid..I like the lanes very much ..
can you tell me, bowling center which their lane similar to MegaLanes Pyramid..?? and the conditions almost the same??

Hook..?? depends on you..if base from my experience... i rather start playing on hook lane, meaning belajar dekat bowling alley yang sesuai untuk hook macam Sunway Mega Lanes, for me Megalanes memang senang nak belajar hook, kalau macam Summit USJ, Ole-Ole Shah Alam rasanya susah skit nak belajar hook... after get the mood, and proper technique then baru boleh try dekat bowling centre yang lain...

tapi serius kalau guna HandGuard senang je.. Tapi kalau main kat Cosmis Bowl Mid Valley, baling bola tegak pun jadi Hook.. Kenapa ek kawan-kawan jadi mcm tu..??

yer ker? sebab first time main bowling di situ.. and hard to control my ball to hook.. main 3 games, tapi semua tak cecah seratus.. the worst day ever main bowling.. even my sister use house ball also can hook gila-gila punya

I got the same experienced before
I used to be a two handed bowler...
during that time, Jason Belmonte not famous as now..
so, people will staring to you like.... .."Ohhh beginner baling punya"..

So, rasanya kalau harini pun, kalau orang biasa pun akan cakap macam tu..
bila guna two handed je, mereka rasa pelik..

Most of you always mention Endah Parade Bowling centre.. never been there before..
best ker tempat itu..??? adakah antara bowling centre yg bagus??

Wadud.?? adakah dia orang yang active berforum di Mesra.net juga??

Sekarang aku rasa byk bowling centre memanjang je full house berbanding dulu... makin ramai main bowling ker..??
ker perasaaan aku sahaja.... yang aku free, weekend sahaja.. tapi weekend je selalu full...

Wqdud, aku nak bola High end...

Nak share dengan kau orang...
aku kalau pergi main bowling sure aku main 6 game straight..
lepas tu aku divide 2 nama dan main cross lane..padahal aku main seorang je...

1st name, aku main one handed..
2nd name, aku main two handed...

so, aku selalu bersaing sesama dgn diri aku sendiri.. macam Hns, kalau one handed baby hook je, kalau two handed hook kaw kaw punya.. one handed aku dengan two handed lebih kurang je, cuma one handed aku consistent.. inn the end, one handed punya point akan mengatasi two handed aku.. lagi satu problem aku bila main two handed, bila spare 1 atau 2 pin sure aku susah nak bajet.. aku cuma tahu nak baling untuk 1st throw je.. kalau spare aku masih susah nak bajet

Summit kalau before ramadhan...

10am-2pm --> RM2.00 per game ( RM10 for 5 games)
5pm-8pm --> 3 games for RM 12.00

Bowling perlis kat mana..??
Dekat-dekat dengan area The Store tu ker..???

neutral 88.. ko kolej ptpl ker..?? shah alam lah tu kan..?
aku dok shah alam, selalu main seorang2 je..
tiada kaki lah... tempat aku selalu main Alam Sentral dengan Pyramid...
Jom lah main sekali, boleh kongsi ilmu..

last aku pergi, ada dijual di Mines Bowling centres, kat sini memang mcm2 jenis kasut ada..
yang kurengnya, lane dia tak maintain bagus..

aku terkejut gila! memang best, world class, dan canggih gila...

Semalam, before balik ke KL semula..disebabkan traffic was really back exit to Tol Ayer Keroh, so aku decided ke arah MIBC Ayer Keroh.. singgah main bowling, sempat lagi tpada aku bersangkut lama-lama kat Ayer Keroh tu dalam kereta, dari.. Sudah 3 hari berturut-turut bermain di sana.. dan 3 hari berturut-turut jugalah tempat itu sentiasa penuh, sampaikan waiting list kena tunggu 1-2 jam walaupun mempunyai 52 lanes.

Bagi mereka yang belum pergi lagi, MIBC ni adalah bangunan "Stand Alone", bukan mcm bowling centre yg lain, di mana kesemuanya di dalam shopping mall, tapi MIBC mempunyai bangunannya sendiri. Ya ng menariknya mempunyai 26 disebelah kiri dan kanan, terbahagi secara 2 partition. Condition lane dia mcm kat area pyramid je. LCD screen 32" inch. dengan touch screen kat setiap monitor macam kat Wangsa Bowl, tapi lagi better. Graphic video yang paling latest, sangat lawa, pastu kita boleh reply video sebagai guideline untuk 2nd throw. Price pun, ok, RM 4 untuk weekday dan RM6 for weekend.

So nextime, kalau datang melaka, jangan lupa singgah MIBC ni

sebulum ini guna jigsaw hammer dengan total bedlam...

Otai-oati taiko taiko...Selepas setahun tidak berboling, semalam boling balik bola sudah tidak mahu hook dah.. Adakah saya perlu resurface bola??
Dulu kekerapan saya berboling adalah seminggu dua kali sahaja...

Most of the bowling brands, bowling alley, balls, parts, machines and etc are from USA.. Most of the bowling alley/center in Malaysia import their lanes, machines and others from USA either (except Megalanes Shah Alam from China as I know lah). FYI most of the bowling alley in Malaysia we just import a recon product from USA. Despite it's recon product, two lanes bowling alley it takes a cost around USD 30k. Roughly it will takes a cost aroud USD30-50k including machines and others equipment.
