Recently trying get back to bowling.... My old ball since high school is already 11 years...

I am looking for a new hook ball.. preferable advance - pro(not affordable)... Budget around/below rm 500... any recommendation?

I check around for Brunswick website.. look like the latest ball which I have a bit of interest are such as Revolver & Anaconda (python etc )

Revolver has very good review.. but the price is slightly too much.. rm 700+ .. and is hard to find in kl..

for the Anaconda, Python, rattler etc... is it worth getting? master pls advice thinking to get it as a christmas present for myself haha.

u want to buy my ball? RM280.. Ebonite Magictouch.. I just bought it this year and I guess I have to give up bowling due to the fact that Im not going to be a student soon.. games gonna be expensive and I couldnt afford such high price.. after working hours is all expensive!! its been plugged once only.. I bought it around April this year I think.. very good ball.. still hooks.. coverstock still good.. hits HARD..

hy all.. berminat pulak nak main bowling lebih serius. ader sesaper boleh ajar kan. ingat nak beli bola ngan kasut. biasa pakai house ball jer. heheh. seronok tengok orang main hook nih. tp nak tanyer aper beza hook ngan spinn.

agak2 berapa bujet nak spend.. kene buat kira2.

satu lagi berat badan 90kg tinggi 165 .. cam maner nak carik bola sesuai.. ader sesaper jual kasut  saiz 11 murah2 x?

harap otai sudi membantu.. biasa kat wangsa walk ngan ole2 shah alam(kalo ader kerje kat shah alam)

Added on December 5, 2010, 1:31 amguys,i play with 2 hands.. not one hand.. a few people look at  me while i play.. i can play well and even got triple or more strik... i play hook and i cant play one hand coz my hand quite weak... use 13lbs ball..
what to do ? i'm quite shamed coz people looks down on me because i play with 2 hands.. in perlis bowls,i think,im the only one person who play 2 hand...
anybody wanna give me your oppinion/s ?

Anyone knows where can i get 13lb Revolver ball from Brunswick? And where/who is the best to drill master... I think that is more important than anything..

I went to Sunway Bowling proshop multiple times but it seems like they nvr want to layan any walk in customer... im dont look PRO enough to be served.. They will just sit inside their office chitchatting... I dont even know if they work there...

okey i have not been playing for sometime already, and dont think i have enough muscle though my weight can support 15.1bs... I'll say I'll try 14 lbs. Because from my research.. Balls 13lbs and below using a different core than those above... so the effect might not like the original.

I have already getting my advice from Sham in U bowl one u... and bringing my old ball for him to check what is wrong.. Currently when i Handle my 11.5lbs ball I cannot perform because my thumb actually hurts and the ball will nvr hook like before. I worry jumping from 11.5 to 14lbs can be a huge jump for me.. But he said he will see how I play first and advice accordingly.. So this Friday I'll visit the lane and play for him to see and advice. I like his service and friendliness !  Looking forward to get my new ball from him!

I was gonna ask what weight is suitable. then I saw this
I'm 119kg

so I calculate and got 26.2 pounds. Is it correct to use own weight in KG and not Pounds? and is there a 26lbs ball? never seen for in-house balls (the numbers, are they kg or pounds anyway?). I'm not a serious bowler so use house ball only. But the holes are so small so I hook my fingers.

Hi, I always play bowling whenever I have time. But everytime I play I felt like I am king of wasting time because I dont know how to play other than take the ball and campak... that's it.

Any1 can tell me, where can learn the bowling technique in Malaysia? There is one bowleracademy in NZ, but the fee is terrible. Thanx
