Ayase have a yandere moment with Kirino when she stumbled on Kirino's goodies from Comicket, accusing her why she soiled herself with anime fandom especially hentai stuff. There is short scene where she pulled Kirino's hand which causes the contents spill out on the street. Ayase revealed to be not a stable character, she is very obsessed with her version of "Kirino" at unhealthy level. She say something like "I hate lies. Why you lie to me? Why? Why? WHY?!" and "Give me back my Kirino!"

Kirino decided to confront her model friend at school with Kyonsuke encouragement next day. He was there to help her too. (Readers/watchers will notice Kirino actually wants her brother close to her for emotional support, more and more apparent as story progresses) There is long speech by Kirino, basically telling off Ayase to stop obsessing on "correct" version of Kirino when Ayase still uttered same words the day before. Kyonsuke even produced classical works of Homer and Japanese folklore with hentai incest doujins, arguing that incest related story has been with human culture for long time, not recent phenomenon. He said something like " If people admired this classical works, does it mean they all are filthy people too?"

There will be a scene where Kyonsuke hugging Kirino in front of Ayase as last resort. Another lengthy speech by Kyonsuke while hugging his sister, saying how much he loves Kirino, implying that because of siscon hentai stuffs, they become better siblings.

Ayase decided to make up with Kirino but she becomes very spiteful towards him instead.

By giving chance for both sides to save face from confrontation at his expense, the 2 girls make up.

Ayase never forgive Kyonsuke, believing he is the one who influenced her best "friend" (somewhat suspect about her real motives) into the filthy hobby. Up to vol 5, she blocked his number from her handphone, refusing to have any contact with him on this conviction, also tried to rescue Kirino from the anime hobby.

In fact in the novel Ayase said "If you do anything weird to my Kirino, I will f_ucking kill you" (yes, Ayase actually use the word) but she does know that Kyonsuke is lying to protect Kirino.

Now I do not know if the anime going to use the same line as Ayase does. It might toned little bit.

Her cheerfulness is a facade, she is actually very lonely and sad person. You will find out later why she putting up this act despite in real person, she is very polite and refined (ojou-sama like). The hobby is just a leftover from her past.

I have a feeling that anime series will rush thru the US arc soon. Since at the end of vol 6, Kirino asked her brother to be her boyfriend.

Later on in the novel story:

Kirino however hated Manami with passion, she even went as far as trying to sabotage the relationship between Manami and her older brother. There will be one funny scene where Kirino purposely mess up Kyousoke's room with porn mags and hentai stuff when Manami come to visit. The reaction is pure gold and not what Kirino hoped for.

Manami: (after looking at all incest themed porn and DVDs on the bed, table and floor).....So....should I call you Onii chan? :3

She did, she "cursed" him with a cheek kiss so he has to get Kirino back from USA. Only a dense idiot like him did not get it first, only to realise it is a major declaration of Kuroneko's love later. She did say that " I like you the way your sister did" cryptically.

Later on in his room while writing up her visual novel, she seems to be very relaxed around him, something which is unusual.

During the phone novel arc, Kuroneko teased Kirino that she has "stolen" Kyousoke which Kirino went uncharacteristically sullen and silent.

Hints are everywhere, no one could have miss Kuroneko's feelings for him.

Well if follow the novel story, the sis went to USA but got despondent as she is deprived of usual network support she used to. So her bro make a trip and drag her back to Japan, restored her spirit somewhat. Before this, the dude and black cat girl got very close.

In their trail, there is small girl will make an appearance that will make all lolicon pedos here jump with joy. She is rival to sister in athletic aspect. She also take liking to the guy and said his sister never stop talking about him to her. Many scenes of her running around the house naked. Then she will run against the sister again for rematch.

Satisfied, she went back to USA and this is where the sister pops the million dollar question, " Will you become my bf?"
