can't say much about he ds version. but d difference wbetween band hero and guitar hero 5 is band hero is more mainstream music, guitar hero is more rock - some of them not very popular. expect band hero to be easier by a bit, but some songs r still quite challenging. i like band hero better coz of d music. btw, that's d only difference. other then that gameplay is the same.
