this is crazy, ive played all kind of games from mafia 2 to BFBC2 with high resolution settings and no lag at all...but BLACK OPS?? even on the lowest settings still see spike and lags even on SP!

MP is worse...played on aussie server and yet i dnt knw whats causing all the spike and lag..anybody experiencing this?

any solution guys?

Added on November 12, 2010, 3:39 amsee thats the problem..i use fraps and exact same thing..drops till 1...never experienced this crappy shit..played bfbc2 on high settings..no problem,smoothness all the way..

cant find a solution to this yet, do post if anything comes up regarding the spike and lag.

problem is right now, i dont even know if my steam was updated or not...all is set to auto update etc...how do i know if my BO has been updated?

to avoid lag, u need to manually update..go to library games...right click the game (SP and MP),click properties,local files, verify integrity of game cache.

then let it do its thing..


btw, we should make a private match like wager match or something...that would be fun

lol hc is fun, the real deal...HC good for S&D..more tactical and requires teamplay and strategy to get the objective done..

btw, planning to have 6 players tonight...any1 up for a wager match with fellow forumers?

ok guys, ive been thinking...i think it would be a great idea to have a match with fellow forumers here..killing total strangers isnt fun when u can trash talk about it wouldnt u agree? i mean it would be fun to play amongst u guys and to kill for sure

So, me and silvercrimz are planning to create private matches...as stated by silvercrimz above, be sure to put in ur name in the list..the more the merrier and we can play all kinds of game modes..we will sort things out from then on..

the players so far..

For a start, i was wondering to make a S&D match..this way, the game will require a lot of tactical gameplay and most importantly involving teamwork. Will provide other game modes as well later on.

Game mode : hardcore

FF : on

Killstreaks : 3 kills for spyplane, 5 for mortar and 7 for gunship (to avoid imbalance gameplay and to ensure players will have fun)

Time limit : 3-5 minutes depending on map. Still figuring out (more time, more strategies to discuss)

Plant time and defuse time : 7.5 secs

Bomb time : 1min

Switch round : undecided

Winning game : undecided

Still developing and editing..will update more later on

guys, want to sell my COD BLACK OPS PC...can sell right? i mean what about the cd key?? do i have to uninstall completely / disable it?? or does it just requires steam account?

hey guys, most of the games that ive played which recommends a controller usually works fine with my ps3 controller. i can get it to work by using sixaxis driver etc. for example playing assasins creed 1 & 2, shank etc.

As of now, i want to try to use the PS3 controller to play my COD BLACK OPS.. and somehow it doesnt detect my controller? Do i need a new software or driver??

Ive googled and a lot of people use MOTIONJOY software drivers to mod their ps3 controllers for the pc but somehow all of those are "WIRELESS" only. But what if i want to use cable ?

So, which software should i use?? Any1 here have successfully tried using a PS3 controller on pc for COD black ops do let me know on how to do it.
