Need some in-game PC CoD BO Server report here,

1) Any of you guys played in Japan server before? If yes, what's the IP ping range like? And 2) what's the IP ping range you guys get joining Australian server?

Did you get that ping from Malaysia? i.e. your location = Malaysia?

We just got our CoD BO today noon . . . so earliest tonight we can test run.
We're from Sabah.
My friend rented the server to try it out.

Indeed, but I thought there's no local server available, GS only has Japan server for Asia, as we all know and suffering from now.

Finally got a taste of MP - saving SP for the weekend ;p, the matchmaking works pretty good I'd say, even at 250 ping I wasn't lagging at all (read: adavantage maybe ;p). In fact when I played an Australian server [xDs] IIRC it was laggy despite ping hovering around 100 to 120. I've tried the "/stoprecord" command but doesn't seem to help at that time.

Actually I print screened my world first CoD BO match final score but I can't seem to find where on earth it is . . . tried the usual suspects, e.g. application data slash cod, my pictures, etc but to no avail, gdi . . .

I played like three matches, the last match has spikes here and there, matrix players - maybe it was because of a player with 450+ ping, idk. I like the feel of the weapon, but it does look like MW2 even though I saw MW2 from youtube exclusively ;p Can't wait to have another go later today!

Which sniper rifle you're using? Scope or ACOG?

I've used L96A1 in Combat Training - not even level 20 yet in MP, and I'm liking it, scope + extended magazine class and ACOG class ;p I also use Python + scope for the cosmetic value ;p . . . in combat training, for the moment, until such time . . .

Japan to be exact, ping was like 260 - 280, definitely not in shape for gameplay at all. Literally a spray and pray game, if you get to spray first.

The two video remind me of something I've watched in the cinema, maybe in the future someone will post a video showing a single shot from Python hit and blew up an in flight RPG.

I felt that sniper rifles are less accurate in MP compared to combat training, I wish sniper rifle in MP were as accurate as it were in combat training.

I was in the map snowy Array IINM, got Dragunov in my hands. Saw an opposition climbing up the tower, hah easy kill! I crouched, zoom in, held my breath, line up the crosshair, pull the trigger (kappow!), miss . . . I managed to shot three single shots before he reach up the platform, and after I shot the fourth time, he return fire and dropped me instantly. Ping was 70 then. But I like sniper rifle so I'll keep doing it until I get it right ;p maybe go back to M14 again ala CoD4.

Does the full version, i.e. Fraps, has compressing of avi files features? If not, what would you recommend for compressing massive avi files?

The thing I notice is that I can play combat training alone or with friends and I never get the freeze, stutter, etc. So I'm level 50 - cannot prestige further, in Combat Training and level 15 in MP ;p
