Same like my Canon Ixus 850IS. I sent back to Canon service center and was quoted RM450 to replace the lens coz it was fungus inside the lens. Does your black dot become smaller but more clear when you zoom?? Sucks man when this happens to your cam.

Exactly 100% same like my Canon 850IS. Haha... According to Canon, if my camera was under warranty they would fix it for sure. But seeing that my cam is about 5 years old oredi, I have to pay for the repairs. Hence I bought a new one coz the repair bill does not justify it's worth. I suggest you bring back to Panasonic and get them to fix it under warranty terms. Panasonic CS super good one. They swapped my plasma TV last time, 1 to 1 exchange no questions asked. Good luck...
