QUOTE(Hwoarang45 @ May 24 2010, 02:05 AM) Blue Ceiling ![]() Yellow Ceiling ![]() I set the white balance to the coolest already (using the set k mode) but still the same, nth changed. i guess its cz of the colour of light bounced back. as for direct flash to the subject, is it better to use diffuser or mini softbox? P/s : din snap any random pics for the red one This post has been edited by bagata: May 24 2010, 12:14 PM |

QUOTE(laichong @ May 24 2010, 12:23 PM) u have to manually set the white balance inside the MENU option to get a correct WB... my friend teach me 1~ bro, care to share how? where is this MENU option u mean?QUOTE(philippecr @ May 24 2010, 12:38 PM) I just learn tat, when u're indoor, LX3 has a very bad Auto WB. now i always use the K temperature WB setting. the 2pics are taken using the "set K" w/b mode set to the coolest value, the yellowish pics still no where cool thou |

QUOTE(Hwoarang45 @ May 24 2010, 06:30 PM) hmm honestly i see those two pic seems more like influence of the indoor lights colour temp more than effect of flash bounce, imho, i think u just take those with decent exposure and well balance noise/iso, then apply colour filter in adobe or correct the white balance then, snap on raw for better leg room of editing.. sorry for the late reply, been shifting to penang so kinda busy recently... thanks bro about the tips, will look into it... havent really started learning any photoshop or lightroom thingy actually i learn alot from editing when setting my manual shots now, eg, when u edit exposure or white balance no in a raw pic , write down notes on the everage settings need for shots on tat environment, then next time u can have spot on settings with more exp, i do the same on auto AI shots, snap snap snap, then see exif and from the no: i play around it next time i shoot in manual mode, faster learning process. imho... btw, any nice place to shop for camera gadget at penang island? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by bagata: Jun 5 2010, 11:25 AM |
