dont be too dumb bro blink.gif ... its between viva n kelisa.. n prius its a lot more expensive ler..

fuel efficiency ler, even kelisa also dohc engine, but viva hv DVVT+dohc engine for all type cc, for some model its dosent hv power steering n with front solid disc.. if i'm not wrong, the 1.0 engine has the best FC compare to other type cc..

Emm...if u drive really fast on highway..yes! What i try before with my kancil..if i driving on 60km/h with air cond and without aircond..the different will be 28KM+ with RM20. Mean with aircond..RM20 can go 138KM..without aircond..it can reach 166KM..if driving more than 90KM/h at the same situation..with aircond can reach more far...

with my wira never had this result, for me turn on air-con only added more load on engine but not that until reduce FC.. i'm heavy footer, so hard for me to maintain the speed at 90km/h for long period.. what mostly differ only when long distance n town driving..

Mine RM40 usually can get 360-380km, 70% city-jam, 30% slow moving LDP "highway".
My habit is turn-off air-cond when going up sloppy road or accelerate when overtaking, but only off for very short period (<2 mins). Else my air-cond is on all the time unless weather is cold.

My Axia has already done a trip to Muar , Batu Pahat and back.
Gone up Genting several times.

I beg to differ. Did you know some 3 cylinder sounds almost like in-line 6 cylinder engine?
Sounds way better than 4 cylinder.

Here is a video of compilation of 3 cylinder engine sounds.

Vibration can happen even on 4 cylinder engines.
Like my friend's old Alza, engine mounting konk then got vibration also, after change mounting then feels much better.
My friend sat in my Axia and was surprised how quiet and no vibration during idling. Mind you, mine has done 75K already.

Of course mine is manual lah. No vibration during neutral gear.

The best vibration free and engine sound - is V6 engine. But you pay more for petrol and roadtax.

What 3 cylinder cars have you driven?

I've driven 2 modern 3 cylinder cars, Lynk & Co 03 with 1.5T 3cylinder in China (this vehicle shares the same engine as entry level Volvo XC40) and being an owner of a car with B38 3 cylinder turbo engine, vibration is not noticeable and they sound no where close to a lorry.

And I came from a VW with 4 cylinder turbo and having experienced both 4 cylinder & 3 cylinder, I have the credibility to tell genuine experience.

My family used to drive the F30 328i with N20 4 cylinder engine and it sounds similar to B38 from outside, hence there's no clear relation between number of cylinders and how it sounds.

Modern engine management, sound insulation and exhaust setting will help cancel out the sound..
Anything also can possible in reducing the vibration by having counterweight, harmonic balancer or engine mounting..
Is about how far and how much cost they are willing to pour into the car & engine R&D stage..

If this topic just talk about fuel consumption, for sure is Viva with the newer DVVT engine.

haha yea.. i'm not saying 3 cyl sounds more lorry than 4 cyl. i trying to say, regardless of 3cyl or 4cyl, if it is a diesel powered car (like 320d or some pickup trucks), from the outside, it will sound like a lorry..

Hahaha. Thats one of the reasons why I dont wanna change the car yet lol. So old car and yet so good FC. lol. haha. Imagine travelling. But my car sometimes got wiring issue. Happened a few times the wire connecting to the engine gets disconnected and results in the car getting stalled and engine dead. Thats what I worry if I wanna travel far. Actually planning to go langkawi and penang somewhere this year. But im just worried about the wiring only.
