Indian man 'survives without food or water for decades'

A team of doctors in western India are carrying out a study on a hermit who claims to have survived without food and water for 70 years.

The holy man claims that he derives energy through meditation.

This is easy. Ask him to do it again in a controlled room for 10 days. After 10 days he should be as healthy as before he started.

Does the body needs only energy to survive? If energy alone can sustain the body, then this energy is also capable of generating protiens out of air to regenerate his cells. With the mastery of such energy, he can rule the world by force.

It is also funny how these "doctors" could not detect intake any food in his body. Considering medical examiners can detect if a girl was raped or Saiful was sodomised, these doctors in india are amazing.

yes body only need energy to survive, but that energy come from the food you are eating, if you dont eat you are like a battery being slowly drain of energy.

hey guys, maybe i would trust it... i had came acroz a person who refuses to eat and drink water even a drop..
he did that coz he wants to leave this world as he had compltd the respnsble as a dad after his son tie a knot vit blessing and settled in oversea n furthermre he feels lonely here.... its about 40 days plus vitout food and water... finally one of that person well wisher called his son and in4m his cndtn and cheated that his father having kidney failure coz lack of water consume juz to make his son return to visit his dad....his son arrived and forced him 4 a cmplte body test.. guess wat?all the body organ function n system is 5n. he says his urinary system has no prob eventhough he doesn`t consume water at all.. doc said its miracle... nw he is normal, healthy and living happily vit his grndchild.... sumtim miracle does happen.. well its juz a true story that i saw by myself... i never ask u guys to believe it, bt i juz wan 2 share it here..thanks...

it really is hard to believe he could survive 40 days with water, going without food for 40 days may be possible, but he must have drink water. people have go on hunger strike that lasted for more than a month before they die, but they still drink water if not it will be over in just one or two weeks.

he does not claim to get energy from sunlight, he said he get energy from meditation.

And sunlight is EASILY replicated in labs.

can you explain what property of sun light cannot be reproduce in lab condition? and how can some live on sun light alone?

Those guys continues to amaze me. I am not talking about the holy men. But about the doctors and researchers who even lack common sense.

I remember that some years back there was an Indian scientist who claimed to have discovered a herb that can turn water into fuel. Initial studies by others supported his claim and I remember he was treated like a new age Isac Newton by Indian media. I was in India that time and the first day I heard the news I was sure that it was some BS. He was all over the media and even people like Abdul Kalam (One of India's top scientist who also served as Indian President for a few years) were exited about this discovery. After a while he was proven to be a fake and the whole country was embarrassed.

Therefore, wait until they accuse the whole team of researchers and the Holy Man for forgery. I wouldn't take those rational-lacking, miracle-seeking researchers seriously.

they put him in observation in a room for 10 days... he nvr drink or even eat...but he requires sunlight every morning...
