no such thing wei LOL
there's nothing about low quality or high quality is just the number of RONs.

GDI is just a method of new Fuel Injection... nothing gotta do wif low or high quality...
by default all Korean cars should be able to accept RON91 onwards.
*
I think fuel quality counts. Thats why the new Sonata and Tucson are non-GDI, according to paul tan.

for a 1.8cc C segment Hyundai, really?
*
If it comes with the 7-inch lcd, reverse camera and etc then i dont mind but still i dont believe that the 1.8 will be price around 120k. I saw alot comments here are just from SA mouth. No black & white at all. Anyway Hyundai never price their car more than T&H(segment to segment) before.

even with those, its not worth the price, unless they throw in the auto park thingie, then possibly...

true, no black & white, i doubt they'll make such a move....

but then again... they didn't priced it low enough when compared to T&H (segment to segment too), look at the Sonata...
*
I really don't see a problem with the Sonata at all. From what I read somewhere in this forum, the sales are on par with Accord or maybe better.

They priced the Sonata about 15k cheaper than T&H. If they are able to priced the Avante 15k cheaper as well compare to H.Civic 1.8(114k) and T.Altis (112k) then I don't see a problem lol. As long as it is 100k +/- i think is alright.

if u look at SD marketing and pricing strategy, u'll preety guess bout the price range..
but if u expect they going to have any price near Naza Kia..den juet keep dreaming on..hehehe..no way they can do it tongue.gif

i10 is almost equal to Myvi pricing..
just look at YF pricing is bout 10k off camry/accord..
same goes to IX35 pricing..is bout 10k off CRV..
and again if u can safely bet on SD wont be giving u all the gadgets u want like Naza..
look at ther flagship 2.4 YF only come wit 2 airbags..the 2.0L dun even come with auto climate..

so can easily expect SD price thier 1.6 version at 95-100k and 115k for the 1.8 version brows.gif
*
Yeah I agree. Sime won't be as generous as Naza giving 6 airbags and other features for such a cheap price.

I don't think 1.8 is around 115k because thats even more expensive that the Civic 1.8.

QUOTE(tunasandwich @ Jun 6 2011, 05:06 PM)
100K plus minus is acceptable la for a hyundai 1.8... 120K can go fly kite high high... coz I really dun dare to expect they throw in gadgets like Forte... one can only hope...

Sonata is about 10K cheaper only ba compare to Accord...?

another big big problem is the release date... lembap la SDAC and Inokom.....  cry.gif

YF 2.4 (158k) and Accord 2.4 (173k) the last time I visit the showroom.

by the way the sonata 2.4 is damn powerful better than accord and camry.. but teana 2.5 is better cos its v6
*
Just checked the spec on each brand website. According to spec sheet, the Sonata 2.4/Accord 2.4/Teana 2.5 V6 are almost the same but definitely more powerful than the Camry 2.4.
