If mati-mati wanna own an Avante.. assuming 10% downpayment and taking 9-year loan, salary at least 4k.

but i prefer the price of car lesser than my annual salary.. (thats y i m only driving a SLK - Small Little Kereta .. brows.gif ).

If the cabin size esp. rear legroom is the same as civic/altis then it's good enough for me. used to like mazda3 but i felt that the rear legroom is kinda small.

Anyway, any indication for Avante price yet?
*
saw some avante review on youtube, leg room for rear is big enough, but head room might not be sufficient for tall ppl due to the shape design of the car (something like Gen2 rear seats la).. but our malaysian average height is not as tall as mat salleh, so maybe is not a big concern.. (the review was done in US)

i'm sure the price for 1.8 around 90k only. maybe ~87k. of course they want to compete with inspira n forte.
*
No need to compete with Inspira la... sure win hands down.. icon_idea.gif

My guess is hovering around 100k...

below 90k is just wet dream.. doh.gif

Why should the upcoming Avante have any discounts??? Do u know why discounts are offered? Its always either to boost sales of unpopular models or to clear old stock. Nobody gives discounts for new launches. The closest to a discount would be a promo price for a limited period.

Year end is a good time to get discount .. if u done mind taking old stock...

on the news today the new Kia Rio will be priced at 80k+.. i guess the Korean cars are no more cheap and its no more labelled as cheap alternative of Japanese rivals...

In Malaysia Forte sales are well behind City and Vios sales for the year 2011. I thought it could at least beat City when it was first launched  rolleyes.gif

things cant change overnight, but considering the amount of korean cars on the road and acceptance is consider a great break thru...
