My friend is brining in HUs, DRLs and bodykits for Elantra As for the orange colour, I don't know, Hyundai said there's 7 colours choice for the Elantra and only one remain a mystery, maybe it's the orange?


Don't think there is, but if the HUs is from the same vendor as the Santa Fe, there's a possibility of getting it as aftermarket accessory, since the HUs on the Santa Fe has such system, although not used.

Allow me to clarify a few things

Yes 1.8 comes with the GPS LCD HUs, and if it runs on the same firmware as the GPS HUs found on the Santa Fe, it should have a plug-and-play ready system for the tyre pressure monitoring system. All it needs are sensors to monitor the tires.

The aftermarket GPS HUs my friend is bringing in are for those that opt'ed for the 1.6 variant.

elantra 1.8 can do 8.7 or 8.9 seconds if not mistaken , awesome ...

Any indicative pricing yet?

I doubt this Hyundai Avante can sell well in Malaysia.
Unless the price and Hyundai service are very fantastic.

Elantra sure can beat more than 700 units per month, it's nice and will pawn Civic in the market race, anyway i didn't see any forum M'sia actively discuss about Civic 2012.
