QUOTE(bluedolphin @ May 25 2011, 07:59 PM) There are some updates on the group purchase . please check your email. i think the real winning point are the goodies hyundai manage to package in with such a low price tag... US Best-Selling Compact Sedans-Avante is no 1 http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/sedans...ison/index.html i really really hope Sime doesnt screw that up.... |

QUOTE(xVince @ Jun 6 2011, 11:31 AM) If it comes with the 7-inch lcd, reverse camera and etc then i dont mind but still i dont believe that the 1.8 will be price around 120k. I saw alot comments here are just from SA mouth. No black & white at all. Anyway Hyundai never price their car more than T&H(segment to segment) before. even with those, its not worth the price, unless they throw in the auto park thingie, then possibly...true, no black & white, i doubt they'll make such a move.... but then again... they didn't priced it low enough when compared to T&H (segment to segment too), look at the Sonata... |

QUOTE(xVince @ Jun 6 2011, 02:43 PM) I really don't see a problem with the Sonata at all. From what I read somewhere in this forum, the sales are on par with Accord or maybe better. 100K plus minus is acceptable la for a hyundai 1.8... 120K can go fly kite high high... coz I really dun dare to expect they throw in gadgets like Forte... one can only hope... They priced the Sonata about 15k cheaper than T&H. If they are able to priced the Avante 15k cheaper as well compare to H.Civic 1.8(114k) and T.Altis (112k) then I don't see a problem lol. As long as it is 100k +/- i think is alright. Sonata is about 10K cheaper only ba compare to Accord...? another big big problem is the release date... lembap la SDAC and Inokom..... |

QUOTE(limmin @ Jun 10 2011, 11:41 AM) Hi tunasandwich, can we go see as well...? means spec tak confirm lagi lah... I saw the Elantra at Glen Marie. Just see the exterior. From what i heard from the salesman, the unit is imported but the exterior is exactly the same with the one that will be launched in Malaysia. |

QUOTE(leftist @ Jun 12 2011, 12:25 AM) i read it here if not mistaken..u can check it in the back page..someone says s'pore got 1.6 & 1.8 elantra..if what they says is not true, i cant say anything i guess thats not the point. Point is: if got 1.6 only also good..price will be cheaper Malaysia not sure yet got 1.8 or not, SG for sure is only 1.6 (for now). So when we enquire SA for the specs for 1.8, and SA say same spec as SG.... SG pon tarak 1.8, how to compare leh? This post has been edited by tunasandwich: Jun 12 2011, 12:54 AM |

Seriously.... November....? Seriously?
If they cannot cope with such volume (it really isn't that high base on the numbers of Sonata/Tucson/Starex or even Sonata on the road) ... Like tat even if they have the best product in the world, they would phail miserably..... why oh why..... This post has been edited by tunasandwich: Aug 25 2011, 08:06 PM |

QUOTE(gregy @ Aug 26 2011, 09:26 AM) How is that possible? The Wira ranges between 950-980kg, while I'm pretty sure the Elantra would weigh at least 1.2 tonnes if not more. i think he meant it feels lighter when it's driving... I read many reviews are saying the steering feedback is too light, not much grip feel on the road... That's probably one down side of the new Elantra... |
