QUOTE(LLH @ Mar 18 2011, 07:51 PM) ppl, means it will come wif dual cvvt without gdi? if without GDI then it would be only CVVT instead of dual. as MPI version do not have dual for Forte/Avante Added on March 28, 2011, 2:25 pmQUOTE(turbocharged @ Mar 28 2011, 09:55 AM) GDI more powerful direct injection usually more powerful and cleaner. GDI spray the fuel directly with pressure of 150bar into the combustion chamber whereas current MPI mix the air and fuel before they being transfer down to the combustion chamber. if u would to compare with Forte Msia; then it wouldn't be the same as current Forte FL still uses 1.6L MPI
if GDI can come in then it will b good.

tats bcoz the contaminant in our fuel is too much and it will spoil the injector so MPI/MFI will come in with single CVVT instead of Dual

u a bit away topic though. this is Hyundai using CVVT not Toyota with Dual VVTI but i think i know what you wanna ask. Toyota in Malaysia can comes with Dual VVTI is bcoz they do not have Direct INjection like GDI mechanism which our "PERFECT" contaminant may damage the engine and hence they do not have problem to introduce here whereas our poor Kia, Hyundai's GDI is made of Dual CVVT. and in addition, the MPI/MFI do not have Dual CVVT in place and hence if GDI is not gonna make it here we not gonna get Dual CVVT. unless, you manage to pursuade Hyundai Kia to produce another Theta, Gamma 2.0 & 1.6L MPI with Dual CVVT then it will b good

Sonata that 1 confirm is Dual CVVT but it's MPI 2.0. Bare in mind that the new GDI machine, do not have 2.0 only 1.6 and 2.4 if not mistaken, if they use back MPI 1.6 confirm shouldnt have Dual. if they use this sonata 1 then should be better while at least have dual although no GDI Singapore fuel different. they can bring GDI in since their fuel cleaner

that shouldn't be the case as 1.6GDI = 140HP
for MPI = 120HP
