you need a itunes account ..first ...then download the software of ibook .. to your ipad ...
as for the $$$$ for the books ..well ..it ranges from USD 1.99 to USD over hundred ..depending on titles laaah ...
and also some "FREE" books available ...
I suggest you download the ibook software to your ipad ..and give a try try ..
