there're so many apps catered to this. if you key in "malaysia news" in itunes store, loads of em will pop out.QUOTE(aberrant80 @ Jun 21 2011, 10:41 AM)
There's no 1 single app. You will need to install one for each. I've seen it for theStar, NST, Berita Harian... but I heard the news update is actually slower than going to the website itself.
im not sure of the performances of the other free apps catered to individual newspapers, but ive been using this >> http://itunes.apple.com/ie/app/malaysia-rs...d443746096?mt=8 .as it's a universal app, it's great on both iphone and ipad. as the name suggests, it's a news aggregator so it aggregates many online paper such as star, nst, bharian, m'sia kini and more.
truthfully though, none of the apps in app store is a 'full on paper' [correct me if im wrong]. all these are just feeds from their online counterpart - so it'll never be as complete as the hard copied versions. i only use the app when i dont have access to a newspaper.
Added on June 21, 2011, 3:21 pmp/s: just realised that the app i recc'd is a re-released version of the malaysia news app. when i bought it early this January - it was only EUR 0.79 / USD 0.99 and my last updated version was at 3.0.3
and the one in app store right now is priced at EUR 1.59 / USD 1.99 and is given version no of 1.0. and was only added in the app store on the 20th of June. [plus now it requires an iOS of 4.3 or later....]
[it's on sale now btw until July 1st - for only EUR 0.79 / USD 0.99]
pp/s: im in no way endorsing this app. just so happened that i posted this on the day that the app got a refresh....
and as ive said above, its a good app but i only ever uses it when i have no access to a real newspaper......
