you cant share your 3g internet from your iphone to your ipad legally.
For wireless model, there is no gps chip, so i think you can only use google map.

Got myself an ipad recently...

I have some questions regards video playing..

CineXplayer is better or BUZZ player HD?

if i'm using BUZZ player, is that means i jus save any RMVB/AVI/MPEG video file in my ipad and play it without any conversion needed?

I would prefer Buzz player HD over CineXplayer

Yes, just transfer without converting. Not rmvb though

However, please try VLC first. It is free and it works for me.

Cheers

iPad can only accept mp4 files (even then it needs to be in the right frame size, e.g. not all HD mp4 can enter iPad without being converted first)

VLC is a popular media player for Mac/Pc. It recently launched a iPad app so you can transfer your avi files through iTunes to your iPad.

Sadly VLC is no more available in the app store. It is an excellent video player. No conversions required. What's the best video player to be used on the ipad that you guys recommend ?

Im sorry, What xda2 said is true. VLC is no longer available? Weird..

Anyways if you really did download the VLC app, you can see it under your app tab in itunes under your iPad profile.

just drag it into the VLC column.

Yes, you dont need to convert the avi files.

No, you don't need the pc version.

If you need a great video converter for Ipad then I'll recommend Freemake Video Converter, the best free converter u can find on the planet.

With very very simple and intuitive UI, u just have to try this. And quite fast too. Just choose input type (video, audio, DVD...) and output (Apple [Ipad, Ipod, Iphone], mp3, youtube, MP4, WMV, SWF, MPEG, Android, MKV, Playstation...).
