Yeah, i second that. Anyone else interested ? Btw, who is organize the bulk ?
i asked them before, with 10 units also is rm500
BTW if i saw ur post a week before, I might be the organizer since last week I plan to bulk order from overseas and i open the bulk, but after that i found local is more cheaper compare to overseas so i close the bulk, but now im consider dir825 already which is cheaper + performance less than wndr3700 a bit only but dd-wrt is much more stable with dir825, external antenna which I can replace with more high gain antenna later on, also the bonus is lifetime warranty by dlink, netgear only 2 years.

I'm not an expert but for p2p, max simultaneous connection is important. Cauz when you run out of sessions possible, that is when your router chokes e.g. lock ups and needing reboots.
Also when a router outperforms on so many levels for half the price, you'd be crazy not to consider this router. For QOS feature i think the ESR-9850 is quite simple meaning don't expect to have much advance qos control (but i never bother setting up qos, so for me that wasn't a deciding factor).
They do have 2 other models with better QOS features. You can look at smallnetbuilder to see the other ESR one of which can do 40,000 + max simultaneous connections, however is only 100mb ports. The other ESR doesn't have the inbuilt hardware nat, but it has dual band wireless. So take your pick out of those 3 depending on what you need.
You can order from here (it's a hongkong company that does international shipping)
http://www.linkecomputer.com/products/1009...R9850/EnGenius/Can also order within Malaysia but they charge 3-4 times as much which is daylight robbery which was why i ended up ordering from Hongkong instead.
ps: there are ways to increase your maximum simultaneous connections in thirdparty firmwares like DD-WRT. However it may make your router unstable. But looking at the WNDR3700 hardware specs (Cpu and ram), it looks promising you can increase the max connections just fine. But i didn't want to invest in the router and experiment myself to see what it's limits were. Whereas the ESR-9870 i already know what it does + cheap price + the other performance stuff like wan to lan, lan to wan and maximum throughput (which cannot be changed even with DD-WRT) were the other deciding factorsÂ

I'm too consider ESR-9870 before but it does not have dual band N which pull me back >< if its wireless N is dual band, I'll probably buy that already ><
