Hi guys,
After flashing the TM supplied DIR-615 router to DD-WRT, are you able to setup the the router to use IPTV through the STB?
Thanks.

Hi! Have you guys encounter this problem with IPTV.
When watching live tv on IPTV, the channel will randomly freeze. Then you will have to switch to other channel and it will resume playing normally.
Any of u guys having this problem with the IPTV service?

For you guys with IPTV freezing problems.
Did you report the problem to TM? What did they say?
I have made a report to them.
Hope they will get it fixed soon.

Hi all,
The link below list routers with Vlan support using OpenWRT firmware.
http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/start
So far any one manage to configure OpenWRT to connect to internet and iptv without using DIR-615 at all?

Added on June 11, 2010, 8:43 pmYou can download the original firmware of the TM supplied DIR-615 here
http://tsd.dlink.com.tw/
Just select DIR-615 and you will get the firmwares for all the DIR-615 revision.
But no GPL source code for DIR-615 revision G1 though.

According to D-Link the DIR-615 G1 GPL source code is scheduled to be released in August.

I'm trying to get the Asus RT-N16 to perform VLAN and get it to replace the DLINK router all together tongue.gif

Wish me luck...

My to do list,

1) Get VLAN running.
2) Create VLAN 500 and VLAN 600.
3) Map VLAN 600 to physical port 4.
4) Create PPPOE connection / get the PPPOE to dial on VLAN 500. - Maybe map VLAN 500 to the WAN interface??

Anybody think is possible or have managed to get it to work do let me know... I'll update once I get it to work.

Do you have the VLAN tab visible with RT-N16?
