From 22A here. Was offered the trial just before the launch. Have until end of this month to decide. Can't complain about the performance but latency not so good. On the plus side, lightning spikes through copper no longer an issue. This will probably be the decider for me as 2 weeks ago lightning fried my skype phone, burnt 1 NIC in my Shuttle (as good as gone cos can't add NIC though still keeping fingers crossed for USB Gb dongle from China), burnt 1 port and screwed up another on my router as well as my fax. Came through my Streamyx connection. Plus I heard from TM, trial users will be offered 20Mbit at 10Mbit price. Will find out in July. Wonder if there will be any catch. So if downloading then much faster but if latency is what you are looking for, then not so good. Don't forget savings from equipment replacement/repair

Ever considered moving to a cheaper hosting company? RM390 sounds expensive. Is it becasue it's a Malaysian hoster?

Who is selling wndr3700 for rm5xx?

Mebbe we should all bulk together and order the WNDR3700, that is for those who want one. See if can get good discount

Before I bought mine earlier this year (or was it late last year), I had my local IT shop contact them but they quote like RM800 and had to wait like 4-6 weeks to bring it in from SG. Dunno if they have ready stock. I was told by my local IT shop that they don't keep stock for a lot of stuff. In case you are wondering why am I buying another one, well, thanks to the lightning, I now have 1 burnt out port and another port which can't do 1Gb anymore, plus I suspect there is some instability with the wifi.

Temporarily switched back to Streamyx. Thank goodness account still operational. According to TM, some router went down thus causing problems with the load balancing. Says they will resolve within 24 hrs. Keeping fingers crossed

Yeah seems like ok where I am as well. Will keep the streamyx on as backup though. Just in case.....

Thanks. Had to reset my FTTH unit, then the phone is ok again. Weird. Before reset, phone got dial tone, but call any number also engaged. Similarly when calling the phone line from another number. Anyways, not gonna figure out why if an occasional reset is required. Can't comment much on the IPTV as have not been using it lately especially since they announced gonna start charging for a lot of the channels. Uploads & downloads are fine on my end. Might be just a defective FTTH unit or router? Hope it is cause that'd be easy to fix. Just replace them. Anyways, hope your problem is resolved soon.
