It seems that Maxis is also rolling out their own HSSB. Any info on their service yet? I think it might be more expensive than TM but hopefully the packages offered will be more attractive, in terms of speed and cap.

Thats why lets hope Maxis can roll out their HSBB and compete with TM. In Australia, there are so many ISPs that made the internet market so competitive. TM should follow Australian ISPs by providing a standard speed like in Australian, subscribing to ADSL 2+ means you will be getting speeds up to 24 mbits/s. The only difference in pricing of packages is the monthly quota offered. Besides that, in order to move forward with our broadband services, we really need competition for our Broadband or else TM will just monopolise and have a laid back attitude.

Yup I don't expect Maxis to be better than TM, I am just hoping that Maxis can pose some kind of a threat to TM, make sure TM are on their toes, rather than being confident and laid back
