May 28, 2010 - I just uncapped Unifi to 100mbps.

Just found a major exploit that lets any 5/10/20mbps user get full 100mbps internet connectivity

I know you TM guys are reading this so here's what I have to say :

I only ran the test for 5 minutes but it confirmed my suspicions. I'm a nice guy so I'm not going to do it again or release it to the public (hell I'm not even going to post a screenshot this time) -- but I'll tell you this, its possible and easy to do. It's only a matter of time before someone else figures it out ..

right now area sg buloh and damansara is already on.
we're doing on keramat area now. kepong is already at 10% i think. not sure if other team working on it. and setapak still pulling the cable.

setapak i think will be run this year la bro. still doing it. the stock from TM is already here. job can continue.

Maxis isn't the only player rolling out fibre. There's another company rolling out fibre, but they're targetting different areas. Take a look at http://www.jalenas.com.my they're targetting pahang first. Not exactly consumer oriented, since its "open-access", but its competition for tmnet

Bro, i'm in Danau Kota here. Applied 4mb 2 months ago and they just told me yesterday port is full around Setapak, Gombak to Sg. Buloh. I have a hunch you will have the same problem as mine. Getting a Unifi 5mb is not a solution too if they are enforcing the 10% cap. You and your housemates can kill each other over the bandwiths.

I will be getting my unifi to install on Tuesday, any user here notice BIG difference on browsing speed for international site? I am currently 2mb user streamyx, loading international site loading is suck when 'thing' is ok, if disaster happen on tm, streamyx is become no stream!

I am taking Unifi VIP10mb! if not good, i downgrade... good i upgrade to vip20!
