Guys..

Have you noticed that when there is a TNB blackout in your area, your phone will also go dead.. meaning that you may not be able to call out nor receive call... i experienced this...

Haha ofcourse lah.
The Unifi phone needed the BTU (the unit that phone cable is plugged to).
If TNB blackout, BTU will also die due to no power.
When BTU die, phone, IPTV and internet also die. huhuhu

Is this your screenshot or mine? 192.168.0.77 has to be your own PCs LAN address.. in my network configuration, 192.168.0.77 was my PCs IP which I set manually.. check yours by running the 'ipconfig' command in the command prompt. It's best to assign your PC a static IP because DHCP can break port forwarding if it assigns you with a different IP address than what you have set.

14355 has to be the value of the port you want to forward, its different for every application and application configuration

thanks bro...maybe i try put the static IP notworthy.gif right now i using DHCP... i copied ur screenshot..hehe lazy to snap my own. but my setting is correct, i using my own IP.

To overcome this issue u can get a UPS. Well i think TNB is quite reliable. Very seldom blackout.

Thank god. sweat.gif

Do you guys remember Streamyx during its earlier days back in 2002?

Horrible pings, lousy modems , horrendous waiting list, expensive..... and now it has improved a bit ...

The same issue will happen to Unifi. I foresee it will take TM at least 1-2 years to get this service stable.

5 TB? Seriously? I think people download for the sake of downloading. Not because they want something. Do you even have time to watch it all?

mad.gif I felt even more disgusted this noon about 3pm. I called up TMPoint's CS and then they picked up the phone and must have left it on the desk. I could hear the background noise. Then i called a few more times. And the 4th and 5th time I called they hung up on me straight away!! you know. Like pickup and then hang up. WTF??!!!! mad.gif  mad.gif

I know what you mean man. The second time called, another 10min on hold and then pick up phone leave on the table. Haihhhhh ... if there really is a god, ppl like this should die young to keep the gene pool clean.

This has been stated many times in this thread edi.

No confirmation yet.

Rumor has it that it will be 60GB for VIP5 users and cap to 256Kbps after exceeding limit. Rumor also has it that this will apply to international downloads only. Not local download nor local/international uploads.

they dont need to...they just want to download it so TM have a reason to implement caps...if 1 user downloads 5TB, 10 users is 50TB... ohmy.gif where else with caps..1 user is 60GB, 10 users is 600GB.. doh.gif

Called them 3 times.

First time: Available, ask me to register or not, I said put on hold first, need to consider first.

Second time: Available, I registered, but at the end of the registration, the operator told me can't proceed cause I am in a business area. Well, since when my terrace house on a hill become a business area.

Third time: I called again on the same day, at night, the operator told me that my area is available, but not on my specific "jalan".

Well, Good job, Unifi! ... @@
