It says starting price is USD199.99 so around RM650. You guys think the price is gonna up to RM1000 something once arrive here?

well, like everything else here ... sometimes it just doesn't necessarily make sense but that may be the case.

the current white official SG set (basically US Wii machine with 220v power adapter) is sold at RM850-950. in short, when it comes to matters like these ... we cannot expect things to be just around the original retail price.

I will not be surprised if it gets upped to US$1000++ when it arrives. After all, Toys R Us sells official unmodified white Wiis for RM1099

Case mod to wii black

Afaik, they never did reduce the price. Last I checked it still had the price tag displayed in front of the box in the glass case.

Then again, all the shops I frequent never seem to want to adjust their pricing, particularly when it comes to games...

RM850-950 is for the white wii ... won't be surprised if it's marked up for Black (illogical? - i know) *sigh*

Not a bad idea. However, we still need to buy separate controller & other accessories to have a perfect black set.

Unless there's black case for it as well? Probably cost more than it's worth.

I prefer the official tbh.

the rumour is now confirmed ! seems like Nintendo had this all planned out ... announce a "hardcore" colour, line up of "hardcore" games almost every month. should generate good momentum for them leading on to E3.

btw, the official release date of the new bundle is May 9.

Nintendo should really release a Wiimote with Motion+ built in.

Bundled is better. Seriously, software support would be fantastic if they decided to implement that.

So, WS, WSR, M+, 199 USD. I hope that's the start of something awesome.
