Sounds bad. Sorry to hear that.
Does it just appear suddenly?

at first there was only 1 of it. then it slowly spread to become a bunch of them.
now the problem is, they are not always present as they come and go as they like.

and i have noticed the situation depends on pressure/altitude.
they spread like nobody's business when i'm at high altitude and less serious when i'm back down.

I see.
So, you're saying that if on the ground you will see a couple of the dead pixel.
But it will get worst if you're on a flight or on a high pressure/altitude level?

Does this dead pixel start to appear on your laptop AFTER you turned it on during a flight, or it already start to have one before you ever bring it on a flight?

I did carry it on a flight before last month, but didn't turn it on during the flight though.

So now it's on RMA?

not yet, cause this is my primary work machine and i have too many things to backup before i send it in.
furthermore the last i check with service centre, they need to take weeks to fix this cause the panel is not in stock.

i guess i need to clarify that this problem did not start due to high altitude usage. It started when i'm on ground and then i notice the freaking pool of dead pixel spreading on high altitude.

Furthermore, my worst situation happens on a mountain not on flight as flight cabin is pressurized so the pressure differences is negligible.

Previous Full HD VAIO panel were mostly Sharp manufactured and are much better than this batch' TN display, which i highly suspected is Samsung's.

Damn i really hate the koreans.
