Read this for the reason.

Summary:

QUOTE
To put it another way, your RAM generally does not make your PC faster, it just allows it to do more things at once. If your single application uses 200 MB of RAM, it won't matter if you've got 2 or 8GB of total system memory, but if you've got 10 windows open using 200 MB each, then you are probably going to benefit from an upgrade.

What type of sensor are you talking about?
and are you sure your VAIO have the hardware installed?

From what I understanding, the sensor that I mean is sensor can detect our laptop location likes description in my attachment. There is no installer in my lappy based on the description in that attachment. I just want to know, anyone have already used a sensor that can detect our laptop location, so can give me some advice.

Hi,
You can try SonyStyle counter. The SonyStyle in Curve have a customer service dept as well, so you can try there.
Not sure if you can extend or not

Added on May 30, 2011, 6:40 pmIf the addition 400rm is a concern, then dont extend.
If not, then think of the 400rm as peaceful sleep for 2 additional year.

p/s: the warranty does not cover for battery wink.gif

what i know is you can:

take it to the service centre (midvalley)
or you can take it to any sony style centre (berjaya, the curve & klcc ). they'll send it to the service centre for you.

Of course, they'll charge if the repair is outside the warranty coverage smile.gif.

You can call 1-300-88-1233 for details wink.gif (their customer service line)
