not sure what the cause, did you do something? like install something e.g: driver etc.
system restore do works in this case if you unable to figure the cause..

Appreciate the help. I have accessed that screen and i do see the 1080p selection, unfortunately its greyed out so i cannot select this mode. sad.gif

okay, here thing to note once you already hook up the HDMI cable to your VAIO:
1. Ensure you are running NVIDIA
2. Open NVIDIA panel and look the following and select your display. In this example, since im hook up the HDMI to my Bravia, it will display as SonyTV:

3. After that you are done smile.gif Make sure you not playing any audio file in order to let the audio output to the HDTV/Display speaker. If you did, just close and play the audio again. It will automatically output to your display speaker.

I have tried that, but none of the buttons allow me to select anything, but i did try to use it as projector mode and it works smile.gif

i see
uh, btw, i didnt realize you are using E series, which using ATI grraphic card. so might seeing the ATI control panel maybe.. im not sure on this.
again, at least im glad it works still.

If you include the weight, then yes
