nvr heard of such things. but price will drop once new laptop comes out. EA will going to be EOL, then new laptop will be rm3999, EA will take cw price, cw will no longer be available. this is how it works. and the duration is 6 months.

EA is here to stay... no new models for current line up.

nope. but you can get 2nd hand vaio for the price of outdated vaio. such exclusive feeling and price make you feel exclusive owning a vaio. and old customers wont feel bad seeing sony selling their item for rm1k lower. at most rm300 lower. sony rather dont sell it from selling cheap.

lol, you could get timelineX with hd5650, asus 42jv gt335m, acer 4741g gt420m all these for rm2.5k range....all on par if not btr than ea. so what makes EA rm4k? exclusive vaio.

and yea, if we compare consumer lineup with VAIO, its expensive. its up to people to choose what they wanted.
but if you are looking for ultra portable notebook, business lineup, VAIO is one of choice that can consider.
