Guys, i want to buy the ea16 tomorrow, I heard that vaio ea has several problems in it. especially the whistle noise it make from the processor. Do you have any idea what is this? can it be stopped? DOes it really annoying? And, how many is the battery cell in the battery? i mean is it 4 cell, or 6 cell or 9 cell? How long battery can last if surfing the web only? Thank you.

annoying or not it depends to user...u can hear smtg when in a totally silent room....but my fren say he got no problem with it as he has a closed cup headphone. 6 cell, battery life on wifi is less than 3h...

Does the this high pitch sounds appears in every vaio laptops? i mean, all the laptops with the new cores " i3,i5,i7" got this problem? or just sony vaio?

at least my cw i5 have it...and my frens ea16 i5 also...

well, im not so sure about ea16's sound source but im pretty sure my cw26 noise is from the fan or heat sink or watsoever that keep the laptop cool instead of the processor. well, i always tell myself, its because of the loud fan, my laptop can stay so cool all the time. =) if its not loud, then the fan aint doing his job well XD

No2. Sony center in lowyat, one of them giving hampers ( got mouse, cooling pad, *all of them i believe.), 9-11 july 2010 * tomorrow!!, sony center one-utama giving many free give as well!!. I surveyed them all. Very good one! Only one SONY CENTER at lowyat groundfloor, and one utama for 3 days.

battery default warranty is 1 year. theres another warranty for screen also i think...

to put it simple, more cell more hours
im not sure about that since im not using EA series. but on my Z, 5400mAh give me 4 hours 30 mins running using Intel Graphics (Stamina mode).

EA definitely below 3 hours since it does not support switching graphic nor optimus (cause ATI gc) but one good thing is the gc was underclock and can increase the battery life abit.
