So last night I was playing with my G1 until the battery is nearly dead. Today I woke up and as usual the battery is dead. So I plugged in the charger and at the same time powered it back on. An hour later I came back to my phone to find it with a black screen with all five physical button's LED alight. I took out the battery and reinserted it back. I powered it on and now I'm stuck at a black screen during booting-up.

The phone boots up as normal and after the ANDROID boot a black screen appeared. I cannot do anything now.

My G1 is running stock Android 1.6. This phone is unrooted. Can you guys help me?

I tried the above method. Home+Power and I get a exclamation in a triangle as you said, but then no text pops up.

UPDATE: nevermind I hard-reset'ed it now. Will post later if that fixed my problem.
