hi i got one hard disk cant detect the drive at all.. always prompt me to install software but still unable to install.
Serial number is 5LY7HNYE
Model Number is ST980811AS
SEAGATE FREE AGENT GO.
bought in pc fair two years back and lost receipt, plz assist.

bro,
i have a Seagate 250GB harddisk warranty expiring on 28-Oct-2011 . This one is a Certified Repaired HDD. Can detect but then cannot format / cannot create partition/ damn hard to mount the hdd. Still can claim warranty?
also another Seagate 500GB Expiration 09-Feb-2012 . Totally cannot detect at all

my hard disk seems to have i/o error... windows couldn't recognize.. but can with ubuntu... just bought it for 4 months...
