are u going to do it often?

if not why not get the service from other source.

the tools involved includes a drill for initial opening, a jigsaw to cut the hole and a filer to smoothen the edge.

that's like RM200 of damage just for a hole ... laugh.gif

in that case the most flexible yet not effective tool is DREMEL or also known as rotary tool which u can get for like less than RM100 for non branded machine..

that can help you to get going but it's not a easy tool to operate and requires lots of patient.

instead of using power drill with drill bit, get an adjustable hole cutter (rm1x at h/ware shop).. use it with ur power drill.. should do the trick..

round shaped 1 iinm is hole saw.. usually quite hard to find 80mm or 120mm one bcos most common size is 62mm and below (mainly used to cut hole for door knob).. while adjustable hole cutter is like drill bit with horizontal-slideable cutting tip.. i think got sell in mr diy shop.. last time i checked at acehardware & daiso not available.. all are puchong branch not sure with other branches..
