im not a dad but here's a general observation though from my gym friends whom mostly are fathers to more than 1-2kids
i) the good dads usually stick to the basic routines and do it no qualms attached
ii) the i dont care dads will stay and play and chit chat and stay around even after the gym closes for another round of chit chat at mamak downstairs until its 12am
iii) usually these dads they'll have experiences in having mistresses since they are in awe of their pseudo good physique and at times will have a fight at the stairs leading to the gym either because of either the wife found out about his other trophy or his new sex partner is not feeling easy cuz he's giving more attention to the wife
iv) the children are idiots cuz they are not being provided with proper care
v) the dads arent properly educated on h&F cuz they are inspired by the so called big and strong young ones in the gym (whom either relied on test or just big cuz of genetics but bench pressed 100kgs with full support)
thats my observation really...but they are still my friends nonetheless

i'm a father of 2 (coming soon, the 3rd one on June)...working in a shift...currently on 3 day split, 1 hour for each sessions...
i fix my gyming time @ 8.30 pm...pickup my children @ 6 pm...squeeze my available time in between with having dinner and check their homework...
you can do it...just need to try harder to manage your time...
