My cousin, just told his wife "2 hours, is all I ask for in a day. Please? Honey?" and bought her a new Toyota Yaris as a gift.
Along with the Yaris came, "I don't have to change diapers", "I'm allowed to go out with the boys on Saturdays" and "You'll get up when she cries at night"
He got the gym and the Saturdays (alternate weekends). Others were rejected.
WTF. Bringing up a child is responsiblity of both parent. Throwing everything at your wife is running away from responsibility. Even if you have the money to hire a maid, that is not the point (and frankly...NEVER TRUST A MAID WITH YOUR CHILD...too many freaking horror stories being told and saw on Youtube), being a father is not easy. Both parents must share responsibility of taking care of the child. Sure it is tough, but your child will have a special bonding with you if you take up your responsibility. This is what we call sacrifices. Don't be a jerk. Screw wan. Take care of the child, dun wan. Don't memalukan the rest of the males!
My five year old son adores both my wife and me equally. And now as he grows older, it is even more fun as i can share more activities with him...like playing piano etc etc. It is something money can never buy.
