Hmm, actually that's what im worried about, if nokia claim that it can output HDMI, it should means that it'll be able to play those HD movie smoothly because that's the only way HDMI can be utilized fully. Remember, recorded video are HD as well (althought at 720 instead of 1080). I remember reading somewhere that it will be able to play mkv files too.

Although all DVDs have 5.1 support, i'm not sure how many Rip are there that have actually 5.1 channel that can be found though. It depends on the ripper i guess.

i dont understand why would people require such a high resolution on a 3.5" display. Isnt it overkill? High resolution on small display only results in smaller annoying fonts when browsing, not to mention higher load on processor and consume more battery. Remember the good old VGA time when 640x480 resolution is more than sufficient on 14" monitor? If we can survive with that kind of reso at that kind of size, then why not now?

Before i start, i want to warn that my sarcasm might be too much to the point it's a little offending. But this is directed only to this specific fanboi, not as a generalization. And im comparing iphone to all other phones/os available on market. Not only nokia/symbian.

3. Actually facetime is only usable when there's WiFi connection around. So good luck finding Wifi EVERYWHERE. Wait, also good luck finding another Iphone user with facetime. Wait, even that's not enough, good luck finding a Wifi yourself, Another Iphone facetime user, and given that another user also have Wifi. Wow, want to kena jackpot also easier.

There's a reason why they avoid 3G video calling, using apps switcher instead of true multitasking, avoid using flash, no java, and no 3G video calling (3g calls are not smooth).

It's not because they don't know how to do it, it's just that if they even try to implement any one of it, it will cause unavoidable lag because most of those features are high load consuming features (flash being the obvious one), thus breaking the Iphone tradition of so called 100% smooth o/s. Pfft.

Looks like a legit photo and a very nokia-ish design. However, don't think it's a N-series. Probably C or E series since nokia already announced that the next N-series will be Meego, but their other series will remain with Symbian. Or, N8 + qwerty version.

being a long time n97 user, i can't imagine my live without the physical keyboard.. probably it's all about getting used to virtual keyboard. but still downgraded camera and no xenon as sacrifice really put me off.
