I really cant wait to see what it can do. Im quite disappointed with Symbian given that the lead they had in the first place, and yet still unable to churn out enough application thats going to be useful in the first place.

I used to think that features are the most important things to consider until you feel for yourself how Iphone managed to pawn them whole being something inferior from hardware point of view ( don't compare screen technology ). If Nokia want to revive Symbian popularity, they should start by getting more developer to write software for them. SlideIt is just one of the best example of showing Nokia's lacklustre in term of innovation.

QUOTE(piscesguy1314 @ Apr 27 2010, 11:31 PM) Nokia is really serious now... at last they came out with a model that rili impress me... Btw is this phone can do multitasking like the one in N900? Symbian support Multitasking but it sucks and slow.

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Apr 27 2010, 11:40 PM) Everything u do must be 1 only. If browse internet u cant do anything else. U listen song then phone call come there goes your song HAHA. U play game only GAME Now only Iphone have something call muti tasking but some say its not really its only a switcher i not very sure While its true that they dont multitask or having limitation on this matter, it still perform much better than any symbian device at any given day.

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Apr 27 2010, 11:50 PM) yea but if u put a list side by side any symbian phone owns iphone. Compare apple to apple. Be specify of what do u mean by perform? Screen? Camera? Sound? Multi tasking? Flexibility? Limitation? Hardware? Software? Warranty? Speaker? Screen size? Touch interface? Bluetooth? FM transmitter ? Battery? Price tag? I have always said the same thing, Iphone is a rip off if you are viewing it from a techie point of view. However, its an excellent device that no one can match currently. I would say that it has the least annoyance when you compare it to Symbian.

Those simple multi tasking really nothing to cheer about. Wait till they show us switching between heavy program like Garmin XT.
Eye candy is useless.

Better wait for Samsung or SE to release their offering for Symbian 3. If its really open source.. should be pretty interesting. I for one do not believe this is going to last cos Symbian cost Nokia a lot of money. Are they really to hands out the goodies for free.

So many die hard Nokia fans.. I already gave up on hoping that Nokia will finally ship a miracle phone. This phone should have been released last year to even had a chance of competing with Android and IPhone OS. Now all they can do is sit and watch their market share dip.
I don't think I exaggerate when I say Nokia has lost their way. Before S60v5 even released, I was using 7710 based on S90 and dare I say it, the best touchscreen I ever used. Nokia did nothing to lure developers and left owners baffled when announcing 7710 end of life. It came back to haunt them when Apple successfully convinced people that touchscreen phone is the future. They slap touchscreen app learned from 7710 into S60v3 and called it the new platform.
Innovations is dead at Nokia. They have become SE like and hope people buy phone with good camera.
