AMOLED have very very poor performance under sunlight is because they right now have 3-4 layers of glass/screen on top of it. The panel itself, the touch layer, then the surface layer..something like that..and every layer cases reflection, and reflection often causes the screen to have less brightness/visibility. Super AMOLED, combines the touch layer and the screen panel itself into 1 panel, and due to that, the screen will be able to reduce 1 layer of reflection, which is quite a lot, and they also slightly enhance it to produce greater contrast rate, hence it has greater contrast rate, and better visibility under sunlight

As I said, N810 was quite an old device, and it was not even a cellphone, it was an Internet Tablet.
Basically the Internet Tablet line (Nokia 770, N800 and N810) were the predecessor of the mobile computer line of Maemo 5 based device (N900) and Maemo 6/ Meego based device. Its OS were the earlier version of Maemo, namely Maemo OS 2008 for both N810 and N800, Maemo OS 2007 for N800 (though it can be updated to OS 2008 later, as Nokia provide it), and Maemo OS 2007 Hacker Edition and OS 2006 for Nokia 770.

And some of the awesomeness of N900 originates from the Internet Tablet line eg. the desktop class web browser, full linux in pocketable form ( Maemo OS) etc.

I've to disagree that multi touch was important for internet browsing. Yes it's good to have it but it was not a necessity for a browser to have multi touch. Maybe u prefer to pinch zooming but for me, I'd take a desktop class, flash enabled browser anytime.
And it's not true that the scrolling on resistive screen worse than the capacitive screen.
You cant expect to use a resistive screen the same as the capacitive ones. It is best if u use your fingernail on resistive screen rather than the flesh of your finger like on capacitive screen
For example, can u use ur fingernail on capacitive screen? No right? 

because N810 is a very old model.  That time i still remember it was Nokia 6680 da time. Furthermore its not a phone its a tablet for internet.
