yep, i dont get the idea of getting buyers all hyped up for so long before launching the phone, isn't it better go just go ahead with it when people are still excited with the product

Ask yourself how many people outside of this forum knows about the N8? Its not like they only buy hand phones at a certain period of time.

How come the iPhone 4, a product that was hyped long before its release date, had no problem selling so well? We won't likely to even see the iPhone 4 officially hitting Malaysia until near the end of the year.

At first N8's ratings at GSMArena were damn high, average around 8.9. Now fallen to 8.4.
The rating on that website means nothing to real world demand. How many people even make use of GSMArena's rating as reference?

As much as I am liking the N8, it is always better to wait a bit for the product get fully reviewed and tested by the public.

Don't want to end up ordering a flawed hand phone just like that other fruit brand phone.

Even so, it is always better to wait. But I probably give it a week or two after it hits the market to see if there are any issues popping up with the N8.

Plus my N82 still works very well.

Nah , probably a N8-01 , N8-02 with bigger screen but less Megapixel. Because Nokia stated that n8 will be the last symbian device to be produced .
Furthermore , the N9 should be on Meego OS not Symbian tho . So for me , i don think its the real N9.

That aside , N8 UI preview.

Did you spot "8tv catch up" at the video? I wonder if that is the Malaysian channel?

The UI looks very responsive and I like the background wallpaper that changes every time you switch to a different desktop.

If that's N9, I'll stick to N8. Keyboard is nice but I rather have hand phone that has less mechanical parts.

samsung wave already bluetooth 3.0

The point is if u send a bluetooth 3.0 to a bluetooth 2.0 the speed still goes back to 2.0 speed right?
*
I think it would be obvious the speed will follow 2.0 as the old version cannot catch up with the speed of 3.0.

8MP + LED flash is no win against N8's 12MP + Xenon.
